Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Shield LLM ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Shield LLM is an automated red teaming platform for AI chatbots. The Service provides security scanning tools, including a web dashboard and a command-line interface (CLI), to identify potential vulnerabilities in AI-powered conversational systems.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to access certain features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the Service to test, scan, or attack systems you do not own or have explicit authorization to test.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the operation of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service, except as permitted by law.
• Share, resell, or redistribute your API keys or account access.
• Use the Service to develop competing products or services.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. Paid plans are billed on a monthly or yearly basis through Stripe. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. API Keys and Usage Limits

API keys are personal and non-transferable. Each plan includes specific usage limits (scan count, API calls). Exceeding these limits may result in temporary restriction of service until the next billing cycle. You are responsible for securing your API keys and revoking compromised ones immediately.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its source code, design, content, and documentation, is the exclusive property of Shield LLM. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. Scan reports and results generated by your use of the Service belong to you.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will detect all vulnerabilities in your systems. Security testing results should be used as one component of a comprehensive security strategy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shield LLM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, but provisions that by their nature should survive (such as limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
